Cameron for Nady

I don't like it. A year ago, people were talking about a swap of Sheffield for Cameron, and even though I didn't like that, it was more than fair for the Mets. Ok, it would have been a great deal for the Mets, in retrospect, even though Sheff is pretty much a dick - the guy can flat out hit.

Seriously though, Xavier Nady? The guy who hit .261 with 48 RBIs last year? Him? Ok, so Mike wasn't an offensive juggernaut, but his clubhouse presence and gold glove defense was easily worth two Xavier Nadys. Easily.

I just hope some other team has designs on Nady, and Omar plans on using him to get a player with a value in the same ballpark as Mike Cameron. It was just a collision. An ugly one, but how the hell did his value plummet so sharply?

I'm going to miss Cammy.
